A Message from Bruce WashingtonThis week, Bruce Washington will be sharing a message titled “The God Who Hears, Sees, and Knows” from Exodus 2:23–25. In this passage, the Israelites are suffering under bondage in Egypt and cry out to God—and He hears their groaning, sees their suffering, and knows their need. You can preview the text below: 23 During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God. 24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 God saw the people of Israel—and God knew.

All Church Chicken LuncheonOn Sunday June 14, we will be having one outdoor service at 10:00 followed by a catered roast chicken dinner. If the weather does not cooperate, we will move the service indoors that day at 10:00 with the luncheon afterwards. Plan to bring lawn chairs, sunscreen and water if we are outdoors. We do need a few additional dishes for the luncheon and if you can help with salads or desserts, please click the link here and sign up to bring something! It's wonderful that we have such a great facility and grounds to be able to have these opportunities for fellowship with both our services together! |

Feed My Starving ChildrenVolunteer with us at Feed My Starving Children on the second Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Join us for one event or come to them all! We are hoping to have 25 participants each month. Email invitations were sent on Wednesday—simply sign up for the date(s) you would like to attend. If technology isn’t your thing, you can also contact Dan Citarella at least two weeks before the date(s) you are available, or contact the office for help. Can’t make these scheduled times? We’re also looking to form additional groups. Feed My Starving Children offers five packing sessions each day, six days a week, making it possible to accommodate a variety of schedules. Simply contact Dan with the dates and times you are available, and we will do our best to connect you with others who can serve alongside you. Those who have participated in this ministry have consistently shared how meaningful and enjoyable the experience has been. We’re confident you will be encouraged as you help pack meals that save lives around the world. Feel free to invite friends and family to join us so that together we can pack even more meals and make an even greater impact as we help to "feed God's starving children hungry in body and spirit." |

Missionary SpotlightDear Waterbrooke Church Family, We hope you are all doing well by God’s grace and look forward to seeing you soon Lord willing! At the beginning of this year our family decided to move to Salmon Arm, BC, Canada to explore a long-term collaboration with a church there. It's been an incredible opportunity for us to connect with various churches and believers in the area and see what God is doing in that part of Canada and the world. Our newest addition August Leon was also born and is doing well thanks to God on April 7! He has been the sweetest gift to our family in this new and challenging season. While this has become a vision trip for our family, we are relying on and pursuing God's wisdom to continue to give us discernment on what God would have us do (continue to pursue a long-term stay or return to Honduras). We will be making the decision to stay or head back to Honduras while keeping the special connections we have made here . In Honduras we have maintained ongoing partnerships and relationships with ministries and missionaries in Honduras as we seek to continue to build Christ's kingdom there.
