A Message from Pastor Kevin Dibbley"Trusting the King" | Acts 25 This Sunday, we’re diving into Acts 25 and a message called Trusting the King. After two long years in custody, Paul’s situation suddenly heats up again under a new governor. The threats against him haven’t gone away—but neither has God’s control. What looks like delay and danger is actually unfolding according to God’s perfect timing. We all face seasons that feel confusing, frustrating, or out of control. In those moments, it’s easy to question what God is doing. But our peace doesn’t come from having all the answers—it comes from knowing the One who does. This passage invites us to trust God, even when life doesn’t make sense—to bring Him our doubts, rest in His character, and remember that He is always at work. If you’re in a hard or uncertain season, this message is for you. Come be encouraged as we learn together what it means to truly trust the King. Looking forward to worshiping with you this Sunday. Covering Our Pastor In PrayerA 31-Day Prayer Cycle “Brothers, pray for us.” Those closing words in Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians were no casual sign‑off. Paul needed God. And Paul knew God acted through the prayer ministry of the churches. Paul depended upon God’s sovereignty, but he never separated it from the prayers of God’s people. His ministry was effective because the church lifted him up before the Lord. Pastor Kevin needs prayer in the same way. We’re organizing a 31‑day prayer cycle for him. You can sign up for one day (that will repeat each month)—or more, if you feel led—to cover Kevin in steady, intentional prayer. Email invitations were sent last week. If you didn't receive an invitation but would like to participate, contact the office and we'll get you signed up. There are still a few slots left, including the 31st (contact the office if you'd like to be scheduled for day 31). In the meantime, here is a link to the prayer topics for each day of the month. |

R.I.P. Pop Machine
After many years of faithful service, the pop machine in the lower level has finally broken down one time too many. The cost to repair was just too much to justify keeping it any longer, so it has been picked up by junk haulers to be taken to it's final resting place. Thanks to Ken Duncan who maintained it, bought the pop and kept it filled up for all these years. |
