Parking Lot Update
The final layer of the parking lot is planned for this coming Monday, August 25th. The spaces will be striped as well. (Note: should it rain, paving will be delayed until Tuesday) They would like us to stay off the driveway until Saturday August 30th, so that it can cure properly. We suggest trying to avoid scheduling meetings, etc at the church if at all possible during the next week. If you need to go to the church, you can pull in to the old gravel driveway that is between the church and the Blessing House and park there. For questions on this , please contact Casey Campbell. |

Benevolent Ministry Update
We have a long history at Waterbrooke of coming alongside others who are hurting, whether it be spiritually, emotionally or financially. For those with financial needs, such as medical bills, unexpected car break downs, appliance repair, rent assistance and other situations, those with resources generously contribute to our benevolent fund so that we can help others. We review each request on a case by case basis to endure we are wisely stewarding the funds we have been entrusted with. Recently we contributed towards addiction treatment for a family member of one of our regular attenders. Addition treatment can be very costly, with insurance not always covering the total cost, yet we know how critical it can be to break the cycle of dependence and shame that often fuels the addiction. We pray that our contribution shows our support and is an integral part of the process that can bring freedom and healing! If you'd like to support our brothers and sisters in need, and you're able to give an extra gift for that purpose, you can contribute to the Benevolent Fund either by choosing that option online or by designating "Benevolent" on a check. If you need financial help, please contact the church office. |

Visitation Team
Do you have a heart for the elderly? We would love for you to join the Visitation Team, part of Congregational Care. We're looking for people who can visit and pray with our homebound members once each month. We are currently serving 6 members, with four teams of visitors, and would be grateful to have a few more teams. Whether it’s bringing comfort, offering a listening ear, or simply sharing God’s love, your presence can make a big difference. If you’d like to be part of this ministry, see Joyce Casey. |
