A Message from Pastor Kevin Dibbley"The Love of God in His Wrath" While I was away this week speaking at a men’s event up in Canada, I got the news of the horrible shooting of two politicians and their spouses here in the Twin Cities. I looked up the news and a couple of things immediately struck me. First, before I had read anything, I thought to myself: ‘I’ve met that guy.” I don’t know when or where or if I really did but that was my first reaction. Then when I read the article, I read the awful wicked reality that this man professed to be an evangelical Christian, had pastored, and had been on missions. It sickened my stomach. I have since heard of people who know his family. Pray for them and pray for the families brutalized by his violence. Well, it just happens to be, in God’s good providence, that my message which was planned over a month ago for this Sunday is from Matthew 5:43-48. My sermon title is called “Love Like Your Father.” Friends, we need to be reminded regularly that when we think we can play God with our lives or other people’s lives, we are least likely to actually be like God. Jesus says, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.” Thank God that we have a Father who has not treated us according to our sins and failings! Don’t you agree? Looking forward to studying this crucial passage of Scripture together and rejoicing with you in the good and gracious ways of our heavenly Father. See you Sunday, Lord willing. Invite a friend! Pray. For more infomation visit:

Construction UpdateJune 20, 2025 With a few things left to do in the new Ministry Hub, the builders are now putting a lot of their effort into the sanctuary renovations. We are hoping to be back in the sanctuary around July 20th and will be setting up the Hub with its permanent furniture after that. Trees will be planted in the islands by a Waterbrooke crew soon, and the rest of the landscaping will happen around mid July (stay tuned for more details on dates and help needed for that!) As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Casey Campbell, Waterbrooke's construction liaison. |

New Mom's/Conference Room
We are really excited to share that the mom’s room/conference room is ready for use! Moms can use this room on Sunday mornings for nursing or calming young children. We will have the TV set up soon to project the service into the room. Moms, any feedback on room set up is welcomed- contact Yvette Hatch here. The design team is currently working on privacy/curtian options. At other times during the week, the room can be used for meetings. |

New App | Giving Feature
Our new Waterbrooke app makes it simple to give. Just choose "GIVE" from the home screen, fill out the amount you'd like to give, then input your payment information. For additional ease, you can set up automatically recurring payments. There are fees that Waterbrooke must pay in order to offer online giving; approximately 3% for credit cards and 1% for withdrawals from your bank account. When prompted, you can opt to pay for the fee, which is a blessing we appreciate! If you have any questions about giving, please contact our Treasurer, Karen Kowalke, here. |
