Although the rain slowed down some of the outdoor work, the builders are on track to pour the back sidewalk and curb/gutters this week (if we don't get any more bad weather!) Next week should see the front sidewalk poured and the first layer of asphalt applied. We also had a small crew plant 5 Autumn Blaze maple trees along the road.
Important timing updates
The week of June 1 will see us transitioning from the old sanctuary to the Ministry Hub. We will be moving the sanctuary chairs in to the hub so we're set up and ready to go in case weather keeps us from worship outside on any Sunday in June. That means that the new furniture intended for the Ministry Hub will not be placed in there quite yet.
The week of June 9, the builders will begin demo on the old sanctuary, in preparation for moving the sound booth and installing the new glass doors. We currently expect that to take up much of June and maybe go into July a bit.
After that, we will move all the chairs back in to the sanctuary and get the Ministry Hub set up in a more permanent way.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Casey Campbell, Waterbrooke's construction liaison.
