A Message from Pastor Kevin Dibbey
This Sunday morning, we will conclude our Christmas-season study of Luke’s account of Jesus’ birth. In Luke 2:22–38, we meet two faithful elderly saints, Simeon and Anna. Simeon is described in verse 25: “Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.” Anna, an eighty-four-year-old widow, is described in verses 37–38: “She did not depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting and prayer night and day. And coming up at that very hour, she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Israel.”

Join Us in Caring for One of Our FamilyMeal Support Needed During this Christmas season, we have the opportunity to come alongside one of our church family members, Duane Bagdons, who would be blessed by help with meals. Providing a meal is a simple but meaningful way to show Christ’s love and care. If you are able to prepare and deliver a meal in the coming days, it would be a great encouragement. Whether homemade or store-bought, every gift is appreciated. Thank you for considering how you might serve in this practical way during a busy season. Sign up here if you can help. |

OutreachFaceBook Ads Waterbrooke Outreach We Need Help from You! We're going to be running weekly facebook ads starting in January to reach out to our neighbors in Victoria. We'll be inviting them to visit Waterbrooke. As part of each ad, we'd like to include a brief (2-3 sentence) testimonial from someone who attends church - a different person each week. Please click on this link to watch a brief video describing what we're doing and why. In this video, you'll meet Kenneta, who is collecting the testimonials after each service for the next few weeks. |
