The Women at the Well have a few things happening this fall and winter! Mark your calendars:
~ Fall Social: Thursday, September 11th, 6:30-8:00 in the Ministry Hub - Sign-up
~ Fall Bible Study: Tuesday evenings - September 16th, 6:30-8:00 PM at Waterbrooke - Sign-up
~ Christmas Party: Saturday, December 6th, in the Ministry Hub
First, join us for our Fall Social! All ladies are invited! We will serve hot apple cider alongside delicious fall desserts. If you’re not in it for the snacks, come to reconnect with ladies and meet a new friend or two! The goal is to connect as sisters in Christ and be encouraged in the Word. We’ll share about the vision for Women’s Ministry at Waterbrooke (ever wonder why we choose Women at the Well as our theme?), we’ll sing and hear a testimony from one of our sisters. It will be a lovely evening to relax and rejuvenate…and maybe you can get out of cleaning up dinner or putting kids to bed too!
Second, join our fall bible study as we work through Exodus! Together, we’ll walk through Jen Wilkin’s 10 week study: God of Freedom covering chapters 19-40 of Exodus. Worried you missed the first 18 chapters? Don’t! This study is meant to stand on its own.
~ When/where? Official study time will be 6:30-8:00pm at Waterbrooke. We’ll have the space from 6:00-8:30 for anyone wanting to come early or stay late for extra fellowship.
~ What will we do? Our plan is to hear and share testimonies, listen to Jen Wilkin’s teaching, discuss in small groups, gather as a large group, and take time in mini-groups to go deeper and pray with one another. If you’re not sure what any of this means…come to the Social and we’ll explain! Or talk to me or another lady who has attended in the past. Or just come to our first meeting and we’ll lay it all out for you!
~ Worried about expectations? Don’t be. Yes, there is homework. Yes, we’d love for you to come every week – but we are laid back and know that life happens. Every week, we want to fix our eyes on Christ and be encouraged by the Freedom He graciously and generously pours out on us. Freedom that is free - not contingent on what we do (like homework), but only on the fact that we are His.

Third, mark your calendar and join us for the Women’s Christmas party! Yes, that’s right…Christmas! We’ve done the miraculous (well, for me anyway) and scheduled a Christmas party months in advance! This will again be a lovely time of fellowship, singing, and celebrating our Savior, Emmanuel, God with us!
