October 25, 2020“Thinking Gospel-ly: Recognizing the work and worth of Christ in a broken world and an imperfect church.”

Sunday, October 25th , our message was called “Thinking Gospel-ly: Recognizing the work and worth of Christ in a broken world and an imperfect church.” One of the easy habits to fall into in a culture that has become increasingly negative, critical, and toxic is to start seeing only what’s wrong with people. That can happen in the church where fault-finding and frustration from the world can seep into our attitudes towards one another. For that reason, we need to be taught and to be regularly reminded to think Gospel-ly. We need to see reality in light of the crucified, risen, and reigning Christ. We need to see Christ in each other if we are going to fight criticism of each other. Let’s pray that God would transform how we think for our joy and for Christ’s glory.
