Imagine hearing the amazing news that the gospel was able to penetrate the very household of the Roman emperor? Imagine the joy of recognizing that Jesus Christ has the power to bind joyfully together people from every sphere of life and across lines of deep resentments and hostilities. In our final sermon in Philippians, we are going to look at how the gospel does what religion and politics could never do: unite a diverse people into one new and united family.
