"Groaning for Glory"

This Sunday, we are going to continue our study of Romans 8 with a message called "Groaning for Glory". Especially during this strange time that we find ourselves in, it is clear that the whole world is groaning. Yet, for the Christian groaning is entirely different. The world groans because it fears what it is going to lose. The Christian groans because they long for what is to come. Let’s think a bit about how the gospel changes the way we groan in tiring and trying times. There is a good way to groan together when we groan with expectant hope!

From Series: "More Than Conquerors"

Our new sermon series is on one of the greatest chapters in the Bible, Romans 8! This series is entitled "More Than Conquerors: Everything Leads to Glory". We are in interesting and unprecedented times and it is crucial for us to understand the absolute security and incredible resources that we possess as believers for negotiating uncertain and difficult times. Won’t you read through Romans 8 several times? I am convinced that if we believe what we read here, we will have peace and we will have the power to live fully engaged missional lives for the gospel. Let’s pray together that the church would move mightily forward at this very hour!
