This Sunday’s Sermon - LYRICS
This week, our message is titled “Let Your Love Be Genuine,” based on Romans 12:9–13.
A Counterfeit Love
A friend of mine recently gave a lecture at a church in Southern California, where he quoted a well-known Wiccan (witchcraft) saying:
“An ye harm none, do what ye will.”
(Or, “If you do no harm, do as you please.”)
At first glance, that might sound like love—just don’t hurt anyone. But this view reduces love to a lack of harm and opens the door to doing whatever one pleases. This is not the love of Christ. And yet, many Christians unknowingly adopt this worldview.
A Call to Biblical Transformation
Romans 12 begins with a clear exhortation:
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
As believers, we’re called to something more—to a genuine, sacrificial, and Christ-centered love that transforms how we live.
Join Us This Sunday
Let’s come together this Sunday and ask the Lord to shape in us a biblical understanding of love.
Let’s pray that we live out a love that’s noticeably different—glorious and reflective of Jesus.
Looking forward to worshiping with you!
Bonus: There’s a meal after the second service.
Bring a friend—we’d love to have you join us!
